MANAGEMENT TEAM
Elias
Azrak is Managing Member and founder of Hydrogen Ventures LLC. His
experience spans more than 22 years in the financial markets, including Mergers, Acquisitions,
Direct Investments and the Structuring and Placement of Offerings with an
aggregate value of over US $2 billion. From 1992 to 1998 Mr. Azrak managed
Private Equity transactions and was founder of Soyuz Advisors, located in
Moscow, Russia, which provided investment and corporate finance services
to Russian companies in the telecom, utilities, oil & gas and automotive
industries. From 1987 to 1992, Mr. Azrak worked with
SASEA Holding where he was involved in a number of acquisitions and divestitures
and from 1989 to 1991 Mr. Azrak was the Treasurer of Pathé Communications,
a portfolio company that successfully acquired the US movie conglomerate
MGM, responsible for a yearly cash flow of over $1 billion.
Since 1998, Mr. Azrak has focused on clean energy technologies and representation
of investment advisors such as SAM Sustainability Group in Geneva, Switzerland
and Energy Capital LLC.

Jerald
Cole is the Chief Technology Officer for Hydrogen Ventures LLC. Mr.
Cole has more than 27 years of experience in R&D and other product
development in the Energy & Environmental fields, including 17 years in
management. His prior experience includes Vice President for R&D
at Hydrogen Burner Technology and several staff and senior management positions
at GE EER, a subsidiary of GE Power Systems Division. He has published over
70 technical papers and presentations and holds 7 patents with 3 patents
pending. Jerald earned a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from MIT
and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from San Jose State University
.
Lawrence
Wnuk, Ph.D. is Programs Director for Hydrogen Ventures LLC and provides
assistance in product development, engineering management and program leadership
for companies in the energy, heavy vehicle and automotive industries. His
focus is on renewable energy, energy efficient products or products with
lower emissions that can help improve air quality. Recent work has included
providing vehicle studies and transit analysis services, assisting in startup
activities for transit enhancing services companies, heavy duty truck prototype
development and alternative fuel vehicle infrastructure projects. Work has
included partner development of fuel cell and hydrogen storage manufacturers
for ITRI. For eight years, he directed programs at GM Advanced Technology
Vehicles and for over twenty years at Hughes Electronics.
Lawrence holds a BS, an MS and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the
University of California Los Angeles. He is a board member of the Caltech/MIT
Enterprise Forum. He has also been active with or a board member on non-profit
advanced technology coalitions.
